Cargo transshipment

We handle the process of transshipment between ships and other means of transport in direct and indirect relations. At the OPP quay, we handle dry and liquid bulk cargoes (such as fuel oils, mineral fertilizers and aggregates). On the other hand, at the WOC I wharf we handle mineral fertilizers using the BIBO technology and general cargo (e.g. in big-bags).

Packing services (BIBO)

We offer packing services of bulk goods into big-bags. This makes weighing more efficient, which saves customers’ time, and also protects the product from the negative influence of weather conditions and increases its transportability.

We have our own proprietary technology for packing directly next to the vessel. It consists in unloading the goods in bulk from the ship (or railroad cars) into the packing machine and receiving the cargo in 500 or 600 kg big-bags. This is a value-added service that minimizes the time and costs associated with the storage of goods.

We have a patent for BIBO (bulk in, bags out) equipment and as many as three sets of equipment. They allow the efficient creation of loading units (big-bags). This, in turn, affects the efficiency and safety of preparing goods for further transportation.

Storage
The port storage services we offer include dry bulk cargo (bulk) and general cargo (e.g., products consolidated in big-bags). The total area of yards where our customers’ goods can be stored is as much as 12 hectares. This includes a 16,000-square-meter storage yard with status of Temporary Storage Warehouse.

We have paved the storage yards with road plates on the OPP wharf from 2019 to 2023, which allows for safer storage, giving customers peace of mind and reassurance.

All used pallets and packaging that we use in storage at our terminals are 100% recycled. The ecological dimension of our business is important to us and relevant to the growing number of customers using our services.

Mooring services

We provide mooring services for sea, harbor or inland waterway vessels.

Truck weighing service

We have four legalized truck scales at the port, which allow us to weigh trucks used in logistics. For customers, this means a more complete control of cargo (both at the time of admission to the port and after loading). The truck scales are integrated into the warehouse turnover system.

Additional services

In addition to basic services for importers, exporters, logistics and port companies, we also offer additional services in addition to the base offer:

• stamping and labeling of big-bags (we put a label in the pocket of the bag or stamp the date on the package),
• deconfection of big-bags (we unpack and empty big-bags to transfer their contents to other forms of transport or for repacking into other packages),
• securing wagons with a liner bag liner (the use of such a liner allows for the safe transport of goods, preventing them from coming into contact with the interior surface).
