The Obrońców Poczty Polskiej (OPP) wharf is designed for handling dry and liquid cargoes (e.g., fuel oils, granular sulfur, mineral fertilizers).
It is located on the main port channel between the Wisloujscie Fortress and the Navigational Marking Depot. It is very well connected to the inland and national road network, which removes the need to drive through the congested downtown of Gdansk.
The suprastructure of the OPP quay consists of loading pipelines, a conveyor belt for loading loose materials connected to an ABR ship loader, LH 110, LH 150 mobile cranes, forklifts, telescopic loaders and other mechanical handling equipment.
